Every week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 9am Travis is instructing wrestling basics and fundamentals for an hour at Underground.  Learn techniques as well as balance, weight distribution and hip control among other things.  Nogi application is tied in to the training techniques.  Bring a fellow training partner, sign up here on the website or call the office, space is limited.  $5 drop-in fee.

After an almost two year lay-off from active competition Travis is stepping back onto the mat and entering into the Miami International Open in October!  That nearly two years has not been a break however, instead he has been training hard in that time, regularly putting in time at KCBJJ and also traveling across the nation to learn and soak up jiu-jitsu technique from the greats.

Travis will be traveling again July 2nd, this time through the St. Louis area. He will stop in at Rodrigo Vaghi's school, a famous and accomplished Rickson Gracie 4th degree black belt.  There he will be training BJJ technique and is excited to better his skills and experience from yet another Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist.  Be sure to follow Underground here as well as on Twitter for updates!
